How do we go about valuing a business?
Before any decision can be made regarding the future sale of a
business it is highly advisable to establish a sound commercial
valuation of the business. There is no single correct price for
a business. However there are a number of standard, tried and
tested, approaches we have successfully applied to a wide range
of businesses in order to provide vendors with the information
required to make informed decisions.
We have a large amount of experience of business valuations and
take into account the type of industry and the state of the economy
when producing valuation reports. We are often asked to produce valuation reports for companies
where Directors/Owners do not wish to sell in the within the immediate
future but wish to establish a bench mark from which decisions
effecting the future of the company can be made.
If
you would like to discuss a business valuation then please use
the call back request option on the top right hand side or telephone
our business valuation department on the telephone number shown
at the top of this page.
Selling a business can
be fraught with hidden pitfalls and our aim is to make the process
as smooth as possible, whilst maintaining the confidentiality
which is so important to the continued success of the negotiations.
We prepare outline Sale Particulars on your business in conjunction
with yourself, your auditors or other advisers. We identify prospective
purchasers from our research and, with your consent, approach
them confidentially to assess their level of interest in an acquisition.
Once Confidentiality Agreements have been obtained from interested
parties, we will review each one and formally introduce your company
to them. We will then arrange initial meetings and monitor the
negotiations to a successful sale.
If you would like a no obligation initial telephone discussion about our business valuation services, use the free callback at the top of the page.
